HR planning

A key part of HR’s job is to ensure that HR activities are aligned with the organisation’s strategic architecture, through an HR plan. The plan ensures that the organisation’s people-related systems and processes are in good shape, that its future resourcing requirements are anticipated, that staff development is provided for, that business risks arising from HR-related matters are managed, and so on. I work with organisations to ensure that robust and relevant HR planning processes are in place.

Examples of work I have done:

  • wrote the inaugural HR plan for a newly-established fresh-food trading and manufacturing company (100 staff)
  • wrote and implemented the HR plan for a professional services firm (60 staff)
